<\/span>I did several fun dives as a beginner open water. Got ketut as a divemaster and with him, you got a really good buddy. He made it a wounderful experience for me. They do mostly shore dives because most things you can reach from the beach. I think that is a reason that the prices are really good. I recommend the 4 dives in 2 days package for 1.8 mio IDR. <\/span>Originally found this place before visiting Amed due to its good review. Coincidentally, the hotel we stayed in recommend this diving centre. In the end, we had a really memorable experience!

We communicated through whatsapp with Ivan who replied promptly and clearly for inquiry and booking, Upon meeting him, Ivan was really kind and fun! As we did scuba diving for the first time, he gave us gift of documentation with gopro without extra charge. They provided water and offered tea and coffee between dive. As cherry on top, the meal provided after the dive was delicious.

We were guided by Bli Ketut and assisted by Bli Putu. Bli Ketut was very passionate in sharing his skills and knowledge even to newbie like us. Bli Putu was very attentive and patient with me who turned out to be really bad at diving haha..

All in all, we're really glad to have found this diving centre for our first experience of diving, especially in Amed. Now, we can't help but plan our next trip to Amed again to dive with Ocean Tree or maybe get a certification?<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Absolutely Amazing Experience at Ocean Tree Bali Diving Centre!

I had the most incredible time diving with Ocean Tree Bali in Amed! From start to finish, everything was perfectly organised, friendly, and professional.

A huge shoutout to Kadek, who was my instructor for the Nitrox course \u2014 he was absolutely fantastic! Super knowledgeable, patient, and always smiling. He made the course not only easy to understand but also really enjoyable.

Another big thank you to Putu, the best dive master in Amed! He took me to see the wrecks and made every dive so much fun. His calm energy and great sense of humor made the underwater experience even more special.

And of course, a very special mention to Ivan \u2014 thank you for all your help and for just being such an amazing person! He truly went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly and made me feel completely at home. Honestly, he was the best!

<\/span>Perfect place for diving in Amed! The staff is absolutely top-notch \u2014 I talked to Ivan, who supported me through everything. I took my Open Water PADI certification here and it was an incredible experience.

We saw turtles, barracuda fish, and even an octopus! 🐢🐠🐙 The beach is shallow and ideal for beginners to start learning, and just a bit further out, the corals get really vibrant and interesting.

From the moment I reached out, the communication was super smooth. I got in touch with Ivan (one of the owners), who helped me plan everything and made sure I felt prepared for the dive. Tip: don\u2019t hesitate to message them in advance \u2014 they\u2019re more than happy to answer questions and tailor the experience for you ☺️

When I arrived, I was welcomed very friendly. They let me choose my gear (even long or short wetsuits, which was a nice touch), and everything felt really well-organized.

The dive itself was incredible. We were guided by locals with years of experience, who also spoke quite well English. That made a huge difference \u2014 not only did I feel safe and comfortable underwater, but I also got amazing food tips and local recommendations on the side!

The dive site was stunning. We explored a shipwreck and could actually swim very close and even inside, which made the whole experience unforgettable.

<\/span>We had the best 3 days diving with Ocean Tree Bali. Our accomodation at Amed (Classic Beach Villas) recommended Ivan and his team for the ultimate diving experience. We were interested in an Open Water Dive Course, but I hadn\u2019t been diving before so was slightly reluctant to commit to the full course. Ivan had the perfect plan for us and offered the Try Scuba package first which included a dive to the USAT Liberty shipwreck after a morning of basic dive skills. From there we could decide whether we wanted to continue with the Open Water course. We could credit the initial dive day towards the open water Cert, meaning we only paid the difference, excellent value for money and a wonderful experience. Such a great introduction to diving and I felt fully supported the whole way, leaving with an adequate understanding of the fundamentals of scuba diving. I can\u2019t wait to return and hone my skills further! Our instructors for the days were Ketut and Kadek - both were fantastic, especially Kadek who was such an excellent teacher, clear communicator (especially in a second language) and clearly very skilled diver.
Thank you Ivan, Kadek, Ketut and the rest of the team who made this such a memorable experience and highlight of our trip!

I had an absolutely incredible experience diving at this center in Amed, Bali. From start to finish, everything was handled professionally, yet with a warm and personal touch. The highlight of my dives was the fantastic instructor, Kadek, who made the entire experience unforgettable.

Kadek is not only highly skilled and knowledgeable but also incredibly patient and encouraging. Whether you\u2019re a beginner or an experienced diver, he tailors the experience to your comfort level, making sure you feel safe and confident in the water. His briefings were clear and detailed, and underwater, he maintained excellent communication and awareness of the group.

The dive sites around Amed are breathtaking \u2013 from vibrant coral reefs to the famous USAT Liberty wreck in Tulamben, there\u2019s so much to explore. The equipment was well-maintained, and the entire team at the diving center was friendly, professional, and genuinely passionate about diving.

If you\u2019re looking for an amazing diving experience in Bali, I highly recommend this dive center and especially Kadek as an instructor. I will definitely be coming back for more dives with them in the future!

A special shout out to Ivan who answered all my initial questions prior to the dive and upon meeting him, is such a lovely soul.\u00a0It is because he is so genuinely nice that I (who prefer not to write reviews) am happily writing this!

Having not dived for a very long time and with challenges equalising, Kadek was patient and eased any nerves whilst diving. He also took photos and videos of the dive. Jemeluk and USAT Liberty still had reasonable visibility during the peak of rainy season. Seas were calm with little current. Enjoyed diving and will recommend.

Basing the family in Jemeluk, my non diving family members were also able to enjoy:
- snorkelling in Jemeluk;
- there is a nearby massage and spa; and
- fish and sambal at Made's Warung is fresh and delicious.
Made from the dive shop also arranged for washing our clothes.

All an excellent combo that allowed me to relax and enjoy my dives.<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

My 7-year-old daughter and I had the best time ever snorkeling with Ocean Tree Bali - Diving in Amed. From the moment we walked into their shop, Tommy and the team made us feel so welcome and completely at ease.

A huge thanks to Tommy, who was absolutely amazing with my daughter. He guided us around the reef in Jemeluk Bay and made sure she felt safe and confident the whole time. As soon as we stepped into the water, we were surrounded by fish, my daughter was over the moon! She couldn\u2019t stop pointing things out and was having so much fun. She absolutely loved the fact she did not need to get in a boat to get to the reef and see the fish.

She hasn\u2019t stopped talking about it since and keeps asking when we can go back. It really was the highlight of our trip! Thank you, Ocean Tree, for making it such a special experience. If you\u2019re in Amed, I can\u2019t recommend them enough especially for families, first-time snorkelers or people who want to snorkel with out a boat journey!<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/span>I went fun diving with Ocean Tree Bali for two days. The sites in Amed and Tulamben are beautiful places to dive in to. Ocean Tree is situated in the middle of the Amed sites so its easy to do a shore dive and see beautiful corals and sea life.

The divemaster ( Ketuk) was a wonderful guy. He sets up a good briefing which includes a plan and back up plan.

Ocean Tree offers an all inclusive package which includes transport, lunch, equipment and drinks. It also holds a high safety standard.

Bonus: During the dives they make awesome GoPro footage which you receive for free at the end of the dives.

In general, there are cheaper options in Amed, but its worth to pay a little extra to join Ocean tree to enjoy the extra options. After all, diving in Amed is already very cheap compared with other places ;).<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Had a 2 day\/4 dive package and Ketut showed me around and helped finding all the cool critters. I think I've never experienced a more proper dive briefing on any of my (many) dives in Indonesia.
Even if you've been diving with them before, they go through all the steps to make sure they never miss one.

I almost even quit the whole thing at the beginning, as I was so anxious. And Joseph was so patient and kind explaining everything and practicing over and over, \"one more try, one more\", and before I realized, I was diving!

I have never seen so many kinds of fishes and corals, it was such a special experience

We were received by Ivan. He is very kind and attentive to our needs.

Our instructor was Kadek, he is super educational and reassuring which is ideal for beginners. I thank him for accompanying me in each step of this teaching.

We also had a typical Balinese meal and a snack (fruit + drink) between each dive.

Hotel transport to the diving center was also provided by the team.

Really go there with your eyes closed, Kadek is an awesome instructor for beginners and the team is amazing.

<\/span>I have just returned home after traveling to Bali with the Tasmanian Scuba Diving Club and diving Amed with Ocean Tree. Everything about this trip was exceptional, in no small part thanks to Ivan and his amazing team. They truly pulled out all the stops to ensure every part of our trip, diving and entertainment, was memorable. Every day we were picked up and transported to our dive site, all of our gear was organised and ready to go and a delicious healthy lunch was provided. If we so much as mentioned we needed or wanted something, it would be organised by the guys (thanks for the Liberty tshirts Kadek).

As expected the diving in Amed was brilliant, but it was greatly enhanced by the diligence and knowledge of the Ocean Tree guides. For me personally as a novice diver Kadek and Ketut kept a very close eye on me to ensure my safety and enjoyment, and most importantly provided instruction which saw my buoyancy control and air consumption improve greatly.

I feel incredibly lucky that I had the opportunity to participate in this trip and CANNOT wait to return and dive with Ocean Tree again. I have no hesitation recommending them to anyone looking to get the most out of their dive trip to Amed.<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/span>I've just returned from an incredible 10-day diving trip to Amed, Bali with Ocean Tree Bali. I wasn't involved with the pre-trip organisation, but apparently Ivan and the team were incredible to deal with, and helped organise so much more than just the diving.

During the course of the week Ivan, Kadek and the whole team were friendly, knowledgeable, relaxed and very patient (even when I didn't check my BCD properly and left my weight pockets back on shore during a boat dive - oops).

There was an opportunity for me to complete my PADI Deep qualification on our day off, and this was handled smoothly, efficiently, and at a very reasonable price. The relaxed but thorough and detailed training by @instructor_kadek was greatly appreciated.

All the Ocean Tree guides and team welcomed us, and our group welcomed them. By the time of our final night dinner (also organised by Ocean Tree), we all partied together on the beach!

If I ever return to Amed to dive (and I really hope that I do), I'll certainly be diving with Ocean Tree Bali.<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The team are so friendly, welcoming and helpful, and bring such a positive atmosphere. My dive guide, Ketut, was superb and had a great feel for each dive site. Just one example of how helpful the team are - they let me borrow some photography equipment for the night dive to get the best shots. Dives are priced competitively, and the shop is in a perfect location to walk straight out into the water into some one of Amed's best dive sites. The restaurant is also fantastic!

<\/span>I\u2019m so glad I came across Ocean Tree Bali whilst staying in Amed. For someone who is actually not the strongest swimmer and a little bit afraid of open water, I think I still am in a bit of disbelief that I am willing to scuba dive upto 18m deep in the ocean. My first point of contact at Ocean Tree was Ivan who is a warm and kind Irish man. He is professional and he was very informative about scuba diving. He explained everything scuba and by the end of our conversation I left knowing that I wanted to try scuba and that I would be in safe hands. I confirmed soon after and I was booked in for my try scuba session 9:00am next morning.

My first session was with Dive Master Ketut. He was professional, warm, and when under water, he was so very patient and kind. My first dive off Jemeluk Bay was sensational (for me anyway as someone who had never seen coral and fish in this way). This is a beautiful spot for learning how to dive. After the dive, I was confident that I wanted to go ahead and enrol for my open water cert.

My second session, and the rest of my dives for open water certification was with Dive Instructor Kadek and I cannot recommend this man enough. He is a great teacher and he certainly knows what he is doing. He has more than a decade of experience under his belt, and rest assured, he will take care of you. It was really easy learning from him and I am grateful that he was my instructor. Since receiving my open water course, I have tried out diving at a few other dive centres but no one really matched Kadek\u2019s level of experience, nor his attitude.

The team in general is really kind and lovely (thank you Sara for your encouragement!).

The equipment is also in good condition, and the fun dive prices and open water cert prices are very fair too. If you are thinking of trying scuba, can\u2019t go wrong with Ocean Tree. 🙂<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

I had prepared myself as best I could but when in the wet suit with all the gear on I did get a bit overwhelmed. If it hadn't been for the patience and expertise of my instructor I may have panicked and given up. Thankfully I didn't give up as with practice and guidance I finally got my breathing right and did perform a dive, to 4 metres. I will take diving further now I am more accustomed. <\/span>We had the absolute pleasure of diving at Ocean Tree. Myself and my friend did our Open Water course, with me never having dived before. Kadek was a super instructor and was always calm and collected (even when I was a little worried at the start). By the end of the course we were super confident, got to see amazing sea life and even managed a night time dive (highly reccomend!!)

Ivan is the heart & soul of the place and it would not be the same without him so thank you for your hospitality and endless jokes. There is always a bit of craic at this dive centre.

The rest of the team are also super friendly, helpful and welcoming.

<\/span>Great place to go diving. The staff are all very friendly and engaging - many of them having a keen interest in underwater photography, meaning that they're very passionate about what they do and they have very keen eyes under the water and love sharing what they find\/shoot with you.

They offered the usual tea\/coffee\/biscuits between dives as everywhere else, they also included lunch and did so at a very competitive price. They even use refillable water bottles unlike single use plastic, which was great to see. Equipment top notch, group size was great (they catered for just me and a guide).

<\/span>Our (me and my partner) experience at Ocean Tree Bali Diving was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staffs who made us feel at ease.

The facility itself was well-organized, with all of the necessary equipment readily available. Komang, our dive instructor, took the time to ensure that my gear was properly fitted and they patiently answered all of our questions.

The dive instructors (Komang and Ivan) were incredibly experienced and skilled. They provided thorough safety briefings before each dive and were attentive and helpful throughout the entire experience. They were also very knowledgeable about the marine life in the area and pointed out various species during our dives.

The dive sites were stunning and the visibility was excellent, allowing me to fully appreciate the underwater ecosystem, although i have fear of ocean vastness. I was also impressed with the variety of dive sites available, catering to both beginners and experienced divers.

The dive centre had a strong emphasis on safety, which was reassuring. They had strict protocols in place and both Komang and Ivan ensured that all divers followed these guidelines. I appreciated the focus on preserving the marine environment, as the dive centre actively participated in reef conservation efforts.

Overall, our experience at Ocean Tree Bali Diving Centre exceeded my expectations. The staff, instructors, and dive sites were all exceptional. I highly recommend this dive centre to both experienced divers and those looking to try diving for the first time. It's a great place to learn, explore, and conquer my fear. <\/span>This is the best diving institute I have ever come across in my experience. I have the certification of advanced open water. I was so happy and satisfied with the instructor and the team they have. The instructors are very knowledgeable, patience and supportive. I had three dives with them. The liberty ship wreck, drop off and one Amed dive.

I have gone in to many Divining schools, many of them go in bigger groups some even take 5 divers and just one instructor. For me I found this very unreasonable. As soon as I spoke to the Ivan he assured me that all my dives I will be on a smaller group of 2 with one instructor. As he has promised the group remained the same size.

This is the only institute in Bali using recycling bottles instead of one time use plastic bottles. The freshly prepared food they provided was unbelievable.
I can't wait to go back diving with them again.

From a professional perspective, at Ocean Tree, you can find local guides that make you feel safe. They organise dives according to your needs and desires.
Kadek, an experienced and patient instructor, took me from an open water certification to leaving the dive center as a Dive Master through a fun and educational path.

The prices are competitive and fair, with lunch, water, and coffee included. The equipment is new and always well-maintained.

From a human perspective, there is no better school. The entire staff welcomes you with a smile in the morning, and everyone is always very helpful and friendly!

<\/span>I did several fun dives as a beginner open water. Got ketut as a divemaster and with him, you got a really good buddy. He made it a wounderful experience for me. They do mostly shore dives because most things you can reach from the beach. I think that is a reason that the prices are really good. I recommend the 4 dives in 2 days package for 1.8 mio IDR. <\/span>Originally found this place before visiting Amed due to its good review. Coincidentally, the hotel we stayed in recommend this diving centre. In the end, we had a really memorable experience!

We communicated through whatsapp with Ivan who replied promptly and clearly for inquiry and booking, Upon meeting him, Ivan was really kind and fun! As we did scuba diving for the first time, he gave us gift of documentation with gopro without extra charge. They provided water and offered tea and coffee between dive. As cherry on top, the meal provided after the dive was delicious.

We were guided by Bli Ketut and assisted by Bli Putu. Bli Ketut was very passionate in sharing his skills and knowledge even to newbie like us. Bli Putu was very attentive and patient with me who turned out to be really bad at diving haha..

All in all, we're really glad to have found this diving centre for our first experience of diving, especially in Amed. Now, we can't help but plan our next trip to Amed again to dive with Ocean Tree or maybe get a certification?<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Absolutely Amazing Experience at Ocean Tree Bali Diving Centre!

I had the most incredible time diving with Ocean Tree Bali in Amed! From start to finish, everything was perfectly organised, friendly, and professional.

A huge shoutout to Kadek, who was my instructor for the Nitrox course \u2014 he was absolutely fantastic! Super knowledgeable, patient, and always smiling. He made the course not only easy to understand but also really enjoyable.

Another big thank you to Putu, the best dive master in Amed! He took me to see the wrecks and made every dive so much fun. His calm energy and great sense of humor made the underwater experience even more special.

And of course, a very special mention to Ivan \u2014 thank you for all your help and for just being such an amazing person! He truly went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly and made me feel completely at home. Honestly, he was the best!

<\/span>Perfect place for diving in Amed! The staff is absolutely top-notch \u2014 I talked to Ivan, who supported me through everything. I took my Open Water PADI certification here and it was an incredible experience.

We saw turtles, barracuda fish, and even an octopus! 🐢🐠🐙 The beach is shallow and ideal for beginners to start learning, and just a bit further out, the corals get really vibrant and interesting.

From the moment I reached out, the communication was super smooth. I got in touch with Ivan (one of the owners), who helped me plan everything and made sure I felt prepared for the dive. Tip: don\u2019t hesitate to message them in advance \u2014 they\u2019re more than happy to answer questions and tailor the experience for you ☺️

When I arrived, I was welcomed very friendly. They let me choose my gear (even long or short wetsuits, which was a nice touch), and everything felt really well-organized.

The dive itself was incredible. We were guided by locals with years of experience, who also spoke quite well English. That made a huge difference \u2014 not only did I feel safe and comfortable underwater, but I also got amazing food tips and local recommendations on the side!

The dive site was stunning. We explored a shipwreck and could actually swim very close and even inside, which made the whole experience unforgettable.

<\/span>We had the best 3 days diving with Ocean Tree Bali. Our accomodation at Amed (Classic Beach Villas) recommended Ivan and his team for the ultimate diving experience. We were interested in an Open Water Dive Course, but I hadn\u2019t been diving before so was slightly reluctant to commit to the full course. Ivan had the perfect plan for us and offered the Try Scuba package first which included a dive to the USAT Liberty shipwreck after a morning of basic dive skills. From there we could decide whether we wanted to continue with the Open Water course. We could credit the initial dive day towards the open water Cert, meaning we only paid the difference, excellent value for money and a wonderful experience. Such a great introduction to diving and I felt fully supported the whole way, leaving with an adequate understanding of the fundamentals of scuba diving. I can\u2019t wait to return and hone my skills further! Our instructors for the days were Ketut and Kadek - both were fantastic, especially Kadek who was such an excellent teacher, clear communicator (especially in a second language) and clearly very skilled diver.

I had an absolutely incredible experience diving at this center in Amed, Bali. From start to finish, everything was handled professionally, yet with a warm and personal touch. The highlight of my dives was the fantastic instructor, Kadek, who made the entire experience unforgettable.

Kadek is not only highly skilled and knowledgeable but also incredibly patient and encouraging. Whether you\u2019re a beginner or an experienced diver, he tailors the experience to your comfort level, making sure you feel safe and confident in the water. His briefings were clear and detailed, and underwater, he maintained excellent communication and awareness of the group.

The dive sites around Amed are breathtaking \u2013 from vibrant coral reefs to the famous USAT Liberty wreck in Tulamben, there\u2019s so much to explore. The equipment was well-maintained, and the entire team at the diving center was friendly, professional, and genuinely passionate about diving.

If you\u2019re looking for an amazing diving experience in Bali, I highly recommend this dive center and especially Kadek as an instructor. I will definitely be coming back for more dives with them in the future!

A special shout out to Ivan who answered all my initial questions prior to the dive and upon meeting him, is such a lovely soul.\u00a0It is because he is so genuinely nice that I (who prefer not to write reviews) am happily writing this!

Having not dived for a very long time and with challenges equalising, Kadek was patient and eased any nerves whilst diving. He also took photos and videos of the dive. Jemeluk and USAT Liberty still had reasonable visibility during the peak of rainy season. Seas were calm with little current. Enjoyed diving and will recommend.

Basing the family in Jemeluk, my non diving family members were also able to enjoy:
- snorkelling in Jemeluk;
- there is a nearby massage and spa; and
- fish and sambal at Made's Warung is fresh and delicious.
Made from the dive shop also arranged for washing our clothes.

All an excellent combo that allowed me to relax and enjoy my dives.<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

My 7-year-old daughter and I had the best time ever snorkeling with Ocean Tree Bali - Diving in Amed. From the moment we walked into their shop, Tommy and the team made us feel so welcome and completely at ease.

A huge thanks to Tommy, who was absolutely amazing with my daughter. He guided us around the reef in Jemeluk Bay and made sure she felt safe and confident the whole time. As soon as we stepped into the water, we were surrounded by fish, my daughter was over the moon! She couldn\u2019t stop pointing things out and was having so much fun. She absolutely loved the fact she did not need to get in a boat to get to the reef and see the fish.

She hasn\u2019t stopped talking about it since and keeps asking when we can go back. It really was the highlight of our trip! Thank you, Ocean Tree, for making it such a special experience. If you\u2019re in Amed, I can\u2019t recommend them enough especially for families, first-time snorkelers or people who want to snorkel with out a boat journey!<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/span>I went fun diving with Ocean Tree Bali for two days. The sites in Amed and Tulamben are beautiful places to dive in to. Ocean Tree is situated in the middle of the Amed sites so its easy to do a shore dive and see beautiful corals and sea life.

The divemaster ( Ketuk) was a wonderful guy. He sets up a good briefing which includes a plan and back up plan.

Ocean Tree offers an all inclusive package which includes transport, lunch, equipment and drinks. It also holds a high safety standard.

Bonus: During the dives they make awesome GoPro footage which you receive for free at the end of the dives.

In general, there are cheaper options in Amed, but its worth to pay a little extra to join Ocean tree to enjoy the extra options. After all, diving in Amed is already very cheap compared with other places ;).<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Had a 2 day\/4 dive package and Ketut showed me around and helped finding all the cool critters. I think I've never experienced a more proper dive briefing on any of my (many) dives in Indonesia.
Even if you've been diving with them before, they go through all the steps to make sure they never miss one.

Our instructor was Kadek, he is super educational and reassuring which is ideal for beginners. I thank him for accompanying me in each step of this teaching.

Hotel transport to the diving center was also provided by the team.

<\/span>I have just returned home after traveling to Bali with the Tasmanian Scuba Diving Club and diving Amed with Ocean Tree. Everything about this trip was exceptional, in no small part thanks to Ivan and his amazing team. They truly pulled out all the stops to ensure every part of our trip, diving and entertainment, was memorable. Every day we were picked up and transported to our dive site, all of our gear was organised and ready to go and a delicious healthy lunch was provided. If we so much as mentioned we needed or wanted something, it would be organised by the guys (thanks for the Liberty tshirts Kadek).

As expected the diving in Amed was brilliant, but it was greatly enhanced by the diligence and knowledge of the Ocean Tree guides. For me personally as a novice diver Kadek and Ketut kept a very close eye on me to ensure my safety and enjoyment, and most importantly provided instruction which saw my buoyancy control and air consumption improve greatly.

I feel incredibly lucky that I had the opportunity to participate in this trip and CANNOT wait to return and dive with Ocean Tree again. I have no hesitation recommending them to anyone looking to get the most out of their dive trip to Amed.<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/span>I've just returned from an incredible 10-day diving trip to Amed, Bali with Ocean Tree Bali. I wasn't involved with the pre-trip organisation, but apparently Ivan and the team were incredible to deal with, and helped organise so much more than just the diving.

During the course of the week Ivan, Kadek and the whole team were friendly, knowledgeable, relaxed and very patient (even when I didn't check my BCD properly and left my weight pockets back on shore during a boat dive - oops).

There was an opportunity for me to complete my PADI Deep qualification on our day off, and this was handled smoothly, efficiently, and at a very reasonable price. The relaxed but thorough and detailed training by @instructor_kadek was greatly appreciated.

All the Ocean Tree guides and team welcomed us, and our group welcomed them. By the time of our final night dinner (also organised by Ocean Tree), we all partied together on the beach!

If I ever return to Amed to dive (and I really hope that I do), I'll certainly be diving with Ocean Tree Bali.<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Just one example of how helpful the team are - they let me borrow some photography equipment for the night dive to get the best shots. <\/span>I\u2019m so glad I came across Ocean Tree Bali whilst staying in Amed. For someone who is actually not the strongest swimmer and a little bit afraid of open water, I think I still am in a bit of disbelief that I am willing to scuba dive upto 18m deep in the ocean. My first point of contact at Ocean Tree was Ivan who is a warm and kind Irish man. He is professional and he was very informative about scuba diving. He explained everything scuba and by the end of our conversation I left knowing that I wanted to try scuba and that I would be in safe hands. I confirmed soon after and I was booked in for my try scuba session 9:00am next morning.

My first session was with Dive Master Ketut. He was professional, warm, and when under water, he was so very patient and kind. My first dive off Jemeluk Bay was sensational (for me anyway as someone who had never seen coral and fish in this way). This is a beautiful spot for learning how to dive. After the dive, I was confident that I wanted to go ahead and enrol for my open water cert.

My second session, and the rest of my dives for open water certification was with Dive Instructor Kadek and I cannot recommend this man enough. He is a great teacher and he certainly knows what he is doing. He has more than a decade of experience under his belt, and rest assured, he will take care of you. It was really easy learning from him and I am grateful that he was my instructor. Since receiving my open water course, I have tried out diving at a few other dive centres but no one really matched Kadek\u2019s level of experience, nor his attitude.

The team in general is really kind and lovely (thank you Sara for your encouragement!).

The equipment is also in good condition, and the fun dive prices and open water cert prices are very fair too. If you are thinking of trying scuba, can\u2019t go wrong with Ocean Tree. 🙂<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

I had prepared myself as best I could but when in the wet suit with all the gear on I did get a bit overwhelmed. If it hadn't been for the patience and expertise of my instructor I may have panicked and given up. Kadek was a super instructor and was always calm and collected (even when I was a little worried at the start). By the end of the course we were super confident, got to see amazing sea life and even managed a night time dive (highly reccomend!!)

Ivan is the heart & soul of the place and it would not be the same without him so thank you for your hospitality and endless jokes. There is always a bit of craic at this dive centre.

The rest of the team are also super friendly, helpful and welcoming.

<\/span>Great place to go diving. The staff are all very friendly and engaging - many of them having a keen interest in underwater photography, meaning that they're very passionate about what they do and they have very keen eyes under the water and love sharing what they find\/shoot with you.

They offered the usual tea\/coffee\/biscuits between dives as everywhere else, they also included lunch and did so at a very competitive price. They even use refillable water bottles unlike single use plastic, which was great to see. Equipment top notch, group size was great (they catered for just me and a guide).

<\/span>Our (me and my partner) experience at Ocean Tree Bali Diving was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staffs who made us feel at ease.

The facility itself was well-organized, with all of the necessary equipment readily available. Komang, our dive instructor, took the time to ensure that my gear was properly fitted and they patiently answered all of our questions.

The dive instructors (Komang and Ivan) were incredibly experienced and skilled. They provided thorough safety briefings before each dive and were attentive and helpful throughout the entire experience. They were also very knowledgeable about the marine life in the area and pointed out various species during our dives.

The dive sites were stunning and the visibility was excellent, allowing me to fully appreciate the underwater ecosystem, although i have fear of ocean vastness. I was also impressed with the variety of dive sites available, catering to both beginners and experienced divers.

The dive centre had a strong emphasis on safety, which was reassuring. They had strict protocols in place and both Komang and Ivan ensured that all divers followed these guidelines. I appreciated the focus on preserving the marine environment, as the dive centre actively participated in reef conservation efforts.

Overall, our experience at Ocean Tree Bali Diving Centre exceeded my expectations. The staff, instructors, and dive sites were all exceptional. I highly recommend this dive centre to both experienced divers and those looking to try diving for the first time. It's a great place to learn, explore, and conquer my fear. Did I mention the delightful, mouth watering food that they have served us after our dive? The diving centre also have the best restaurant in Amed, Warung Made.<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/span>This is the best diving institute I have ever come across in my experience. I have the certification of advanced open water. I was so happy and satisfied with the instructor and the team they have. The instructors are very knowledgeable, patience and supportive. I had three dives with them. The liberty ship wreck, drop off and one Amed dive.

I have gone in to many Divining schools, many of them go in bigger groups some even take 5 divers and just one instructor. For me I found this very unreasonable. As soon as I spoke to the Ivan he assured me that all my dives I will be on a smaller group of 2 with one instructor. As he has promised the group remained the same size.

This is the only institute in Bali using recycling bottles instead of one time use plastic bottles. The freshly prepared food they provided was unbelievable.
I can't wait to go back diving with them again.

My journey with Ocean Tree started several months ago with fun dives, and since then, I haven't been able to leave.

From a professional perspective, at Ocean Tree, you can find local guides that make you feel safe. They organise dives according to your needs and desires.
Kadek, an experienced and patient instructor, took me from an open water certification to leaving the dive center as a Dive Master through a fun and educational path.

The prices are competitive and fair, with lunch, water, and coffee included. The equipment is new and always well-maintained.

From a human perspective, there is no better school. The entire staff welcomes you with a smile in the morning, and everyone is always very helpful and friendly!

Absolutely recommended for all levels, whether you just want to try scuba diving, go for fun dives, or start a professional path.<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Our dive guide Nyoman was fun and so engaging, he made sure to go the extra mile for us. The dive organisers Ivan is the most helpful and kind person you could ever ask to meet.
